BLACK BEANS

THIS IS A STAPLE IN OUR HOME GOES WITH ANY MEAL OR FOR A MEAL :)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

BLACK BEANS OF ANY BRAND DOESNT MATTER
OIL
ONION
SALT

FIRST RINSE YOUR BEANS TO GET ANY EXCESS DIRT OFF
THEN FILL A POT WITH WATER ADD YOUR BEANS SALT OF COURSE TO TASTE AND HALF OF A ONION FOR FLAVOR THEN YOU WANT TO ADD OIL NOT A TON JUST LIKE YOU WOULD TO A POT OF WATER FOR PASTA
COOK THIS ON ABOUT 7 SO MED HIGH
WHEN THE BEANS ARE NICE AND SOFT YOU WANT TO TAKE OFF THE AND WE ARE GOING TO HEAT SOME OIL IN A PAN AND TOSS SOME DICED ONION IN ONCE THE ONION IS NICE AND TRANSLUCENT WE ARE GOING TO ADD JUST THE BEANS NOT THE WATER YET WHEN YOU HAVE ADDED ALL THE BEANS LET THEM SIT FOR ABOUT 3 TO 4 MINUTES THEN YOU CAN ADD A LITTLE WATER FROM THE PAN TO COVER THE BEANS ONLY TOP AND LET SIT ON A LOW HEAT TILL THE WATER THICKENS BACK UP AND SERVE :) HOPE YOU ENJOY !!
